ARZON SOLAR INTRODUCES THE 2.70 KW UMODULE, THE HIGHEST POWER, HIGHEST EFFICIENCY PV MODULE IN THE WORLD

Seal Beach, CA – February 19, 2015: Arzon Solar, LLC, the world’s premier designer and manufacturer of high performance concentrator photovoltaic (CPV) solar modules and systems, is introducing a new CPV platform called the “Universal Module” (uModule™). Performing with 30% efficiency, the uModule is the highest efficiency and highest power commercially available PV module in the world. The uModule is rated at 2.70 kW DC CSTC (2.30 kW DC CSOC).
The uModule is a fully integrated, easy-to-install, and easy-to-ship CPV module designed for robust and reliable performance. The uModule is available for individual order or can be installed into several uModule-enabled systems also offered by Arzon Solar. Whether the solar need is off grid, commercial, distributed generation, net metering, or utility scale, the uModule will provide the highest performance energy solution in sunny and dry climes.

AMONIX ACHEIVES WORLD RECORD 35.9% MODULE EFFICIENCY RATING AT NREL

Seal Beach, CA – August 20, 2013: Amonix Inc., the leading designer and manufacturer of concentrator photovoltaic (CPV) solar power systems, announced today that it has achieved a National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) efficiency rating of 35.9% under recently adopted CPV IEC test conditions of 1000 W/m2 and 25°C cell temperature. Data for the rating was generated by an Amonix module under outdoor test at NREL from late February to April of this year.
The result is the highest ever independently rated module efficiency for any PV technology and is the first time NREL quantified the rating for a concentrator module with the cells at 25°C instead of at operating temperature. Amonix worked with NREL to help mature this measurement process. The result continues Amonix’s history of leading the world in solar module efficiency, setting a module efficiency record of 34.9% at CSOC (concentrator standard operating conditions) in April, 2013 and the first to break 33% CSOC module efficiency in May 2012.
“This 35.9% IEC CSTC module efficiency is a direct comparison to PV module efficiencies, which are often reported at IEC standard test conditions,” said Vahan Garboushian, Amonix Founder and CTO.
